Electricity is the most needed in the 21st century, whether it is running television or smartphones. Meanwhile, now the power situation in Bihar is getting better day by day, the recent report released by NITI Aayog has mentioned it in detail. This report shows that from 2015 to 2016, Bihar used to have the maximum number of people without electricity connection, but this situation has completely changed. Let me tell you that due to the changed situation, Uttar Pradesh has left many states including Jharkhand behind in Bihar.

According to the NITI Aayog report, if we compare the situation from 2019 to 2020 in the year 2015 to 2016, it clearly shows that in 2015 to 16, 39.86% of the households in Bihar did not have electricity. This figure was much worse than other states of the country at that time. At the same time, from 2019 to 2020, there has been a big change in the situation of Bihar. The percentage of households deprived of electricity has come down from 39 to 3%, let me tell you that at present, more than 3% of the houses in many states do not have electricity connection, if the report is to be believed then 9% in Uttar Pradesh, 7.4% in Assam, 7.4% in Jharkhand. 5.50% In Meghalaya, 8.10% households do not have electricity connection yet.
