Vistara Airlines told its pilots that the said salaries for “extra working hours” would be credited after merger with Air India’s roster, Moneycontrol reported citing people in the know. The airlines also asked pilots to call off the strike, the report added following Vistara Chief Executive Officer Vinod Kannan’s virtual meeting with the pilots amidst a standoff over compensation issues.
The report claimed that HR Head Deepa Chadha, Vinod Bhat, Vikram Mohan Dayal, and Rajiv Malhotra were part of the town hall.
