Bihar Police Under Service Commission had taken out a total of 2446 posts of Inspector, Sergeant and Assistant Jail Superintendent under Bihar Police and Prison and Correctional Services. Recently its final result was also released. At the same time, the candidates who have been selected are waiting for a long time to go to training. Now they will have to wait for the court’s conclusion.
Some candidates had filed a case in the High Court against the result of 2446 Inspector Examination. Advocate Ritika Rani fought for the complainants in the High Court. He said that 268 candidates, including Sudhir Kumar Gupta, have complained that they have attempted the questions correctly in the exam with more than the cut off score. At the same time, when the Commission uploaded the scorecard on its website on August 1, 2021, it was found that the marks of about 236 candidates were more than the cut off but they were not selected.
Advocate Ritika Rani told that the High Court was taken refuge in this matter. During the hearing on Wednesday, the court has put a stay in view of the seriousness of the whole matter. He said that now no joining letter will be given to any candidate. The restoration process will be stopped. The commission will have to answer many unresolved questions in the court.
Advocate Ritika Rani said that after about four weeks, the matter will be heard again. Regarding the matter of challenging the merit list, the advocate says that as long as the matter remains pending in the High Court, the entire process of reinstatement will remain on hold. Let us tell you that the candidates who have been selected for this recruitment are waiting for the training for a long time.
Recently, a large group of selected candidates had reached the police headquarters. They have been wanting information as to why they are not being called for training. Whereas the commission could not give any confirmed information to the candidates about waiting for such a long time. The selected candidates have always been sent only after saying round things. Now after the stay of the High Court, where there is hope among those challenging the result, there has been an increase in the disappointment among the selected students regarding the waiting period.
