Whereas action was taken against 487 drivers under various sections of the Motor Vehicles Act. In this, seatbelt, helmet, fitness, insurance etc. were also checked. Along with the fine, 54 vehicles were also seized under various sections.

The Transport Secretary said that for the purpose of tax evasion and other reasons, vehicle owners get registration of luxury and other vehicles from Jharkhand and secretly operate in Bihar permanently. This is a violation of the Motor Vehicles Act. Due to this Bihar is losing revenue. Genuine vehicle owners of Jharkhand or other state need not worry.
