Now the construction of five expressways in Bihar will start soon, these 28 districts will benefit



To accelerate the progress, development and economic activities of Bihar, I am making every effort to build bridges, culverts in the district along with roads, highways and expressways. This information was given by MP Dr. Javed Azad on Sunday. He told that along with raising questions in the house, I have met the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways to solve the problems. On December 8 last year, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways met Nitin Gadkari to demand upgradation of 11 highways of the state into super expressways. Along with this, many important demands were placed prominently.

He said that during the meeting, Minister Nitin Gadkari gave full confidence to take action on it soon and on November 9, 2021, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, through a letter, under the Bharatmala project, under Phase-II of the Express-ways. Confirmed the start of the earlier processes for construction. The proposed Siliguri-Gorakhpur Expressway under Bharatmala Project Phase-2 will start from Gorakhpur and will go to Siliguri in West Bengal via Gopalganj, Siwan, Chhapra, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Supaul, Saharsa, Purnia, Kishanganj. The construction of this expressway will be done away from the populated areas. So that there are no problems in land acquisition and the entire part of the expressway is greenfield.

MP Dr. Javed Azad said that he has met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. He said that the proposed Siliguri-Gorakhpur Expressway under Bharatmala Project Phase-II would start from Gorakhpur, Gopalganj, Siwan Chapra, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Supaul, Saharsa, Purnia, Kishanganj, and reach Siliguri in West Bengal.
