According to the information, the district administration has sent a proposal to the Land Reforms cum Revenue Department for this. DM Dr Chandrashekhar Singh informed that the area of ​​Patna Sadar cum Zone is much bigger than before, for which this decision has been taken to run the administration smoothly.

Let us inform that before dividing Patna Sadar, the land of adjoining districts of Patna will also be included in it. Let us inform that before the division of Patna Sadar Zone, a total of 3543.5 acres of land of Saran and Vaishali has now come under Patna district administration. Along with this, after the approval of the department and further action from the government level, the Patna Sadar division will be divided into three parts, so that it will be easy to provide civic facilities to the people. According to the notification of the General Administration Department, 3212 acres of land including JP Setu, Paheleja Ghat, Kangan Ghat in Saran district and 331.5 acres of Vaishali district have come to Patna district.

In this regard, DM Dr Chandrashekhar Singh said that this land of Saran and Vaishali will now be connected with Patna Sadar block. Along with this, the registration of land of those areas will be done in Patna District Registration Office. At the same time, from the certificates of the people living there, the disposal of public grievances will also be done under this block.
