Patna Science College, considered to be the oldest college of the capital Patna, has a different history. Let us tell you that the foundation of this college was done on 15 November 1928 by Lord Irwin, the then Viceroy of India. After which Patna Science College celebrates its foundation day every 15 November. According to the information, this year no foundation day program was organized by the Patna Science College, but the Bihar government is considering to give big but schemes to the students of Patna Science College.
It is being told that plans are being made to make changes in the rejuvenation of Patna Science College. Crores of rupees will be spent by the state government for this. According to the information, the gymnasium in the eastern part of the college campus will be rebuilt. On the other hand, plans are being made to reconstruct the buildings of the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Geology and Statistics.
According to the information, there is a plan to set up the gymnasium in the open space between the back side of the college’s administrative block and the side of the college building. The idea is to symbolically include all the departments in a single column. Simultaneously, a plan to build an air-conditioned multi-storey new library complex on a plot of land near the Department of Physics, which will also have a hall, is being considered. The books from the old library, located on the first floor of the administrative block, will be shifted after the construction is completed.
