Bihar government is constructing new projects to make the capital Patna a smart city. At the same time, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated several projects on behalf of the Municipal Corporation including Adalatganj Talab. In this episode, CM Nitish has laid the foundation stone of the road being built under the development of Mandiri drain under Smart City Project. According to the information, the road to be built on Mandiri drain is being built with modern technology and it will be one of the major projects of Patna in the coming times.

According to the information, road will be constructed on Mandiri drain at a cost of 67.11 crores. If we talk about its route, then this road will be made from Income Tax Golambar to Kali Mandir, whose length will be 1,289 meters. The same two-lane road of 5.5 meters width will be constructed on Mandiri drain, on both sides of which footpath, vending zone, street-scaping zone, green buffer zone will be constructed. It is being told that due to the construction of the road, people will get relief from the road jam to a great extent. Along with this, efforts will be made to connect the Digha elevated road to Mandiri road drain in the coming time.

Let us inform that Mandiri Nala is one of the main drains of Patna city and under this scheme an alternate route will be prepared by covering the 1,289 meter length of Nala from Income Tax Golambar to Kali Mandir in Ward 26 and 27 of Patna Municipal Corporation. At the same time, after the construction of the road, smooth traffic will start operating in the north-south direction between Ashok Raj Path and New Dak Bungalow Road.
