The settlers have been selected by the Bihar State Mining Corporation Limited through e-auction process. Environmentally approved sand ghats of the districts have to be operated. As soon as the paperwork is completed, sand mining will start from next week. Sand will be available to the residents of the state at a reasonable rate. At the same time, the process of e-auction of about 100 sand ghats in the state is expected to start from December 10.
