Because recently CM Nitish Kumar had made a big announcement regarding this AIIMS. In which the state government’s cabinet approved the transfer of land for Darbhanga AIIMS.
Darbhanga AIIMS will be the pride of Mithilanchal: For information, let us tell you that the Bihar government has transferred more than 200 acres of land to the center for Darbhanga AIIMS, apart from DMCH in Darbhanga, it will be a big hospital, which will be able to provide better health services to the people of entire North Bihar. After the completion of the construction of this hospital, 2500 patients can be treated in OPD in a day, as well as MBBS in 100 seats and B.Sc Nursing in 60 seats.

Let us inform that after the construction of Darbhanga AIIMS, people of neighboring country Nepal will be benefitted along with nearby districts like Madhubani, Samastipur, Begusarai, Sitamarhi. They will not have to go to Patna, Delhi or other cities of the country for treatment. Along with DMCH in Darbhanga, AIIMS will also be there, where world class medical facilities will be available. Darbhanga AIIMS will be the second AIIMS of Bihar and 22nd AIIMS in the country. Earlier, AIIMS has been built in Phulwarisharif of the capital Patna.
Bihar government minister said: The same Bihar government minister Sanjay Kumar Jha said that CM Nitish Kumar’s government has given a ‘Diwali gift’ to the people of Bihar, under this the process of transfer of 200 acres of land to the central government for Darbhanga AIIMS has been approved. The cost of construction of this hospital with state-of-the-art facilities will be around Rs 1264 crore, Darbhanga AIIMS will have 750 beds, where the most difficult diseases can be treated.
