Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is going to restore pantrycar facility in 13 trains from the first week of December. IRCTC Regional Manager Rajesh Kumar said that the arrangement of pantry car in 13 pairs of trains including Sampoorna Kranti, Shramjeevi, Howrah Jan Shatabdi, Archana, Patna-Kurla, Freedom Fighter Express, Saptkranti, Mahabodhi Express will be started in the first week of next month.

Facility in those trains which already have pantry car

IRCTC has started preparing for it. By the end of December, pantry car facility will be restored in all those trains, which were earlier. However, the option of ready to eat will be available to the passengers. If passengers do not want to take pantry car food, then they can order it online from registered institutions. Let us tell you that in Tejas Rajdhani, one of the VIP trains, now the facility of eating again is being started.

Maximum 15 thousand ticketless passengers in a day in the whole held

Simultaneous ticket checking drive was conducted in all the five divisions of East Central Railway zone. On Tuesday, 15 thousand people were caught traveling without tickets, from whom a fine of Rs 91 lakh was collected. Rajesh Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway said that on the instructions of General Manager Anupam Sharma, the campaign is being run simultaneously in the entire zone. Its fruitful results were also seen. From November 1 to 23, 2.28 lakh ticketless passengers were caught in the entire zone. 12 crore 97 lakh rupees were recovered from them as fine. In the same period last month, 1.88 lakh unticketed passengers were caught, from whom 10.61 crore fines were collected.
