To go from Bihar to UP, there will be a six-lane road from 2023, know which districts it will pass

In the coming days, the connectivity of South Bihar will be better than the neighboring state of Uttar Pradesh. One of the important road projects of the state, the construction of NH from Varanasi to Aurangabad about 192 km in length is stuck even after 10 years. Presently this GT Road is NH-2 Fourlane, it has been renamed as NH-19. Its construction started in 2021 and is now likely to be completed in 2023. 50% of its construction has been completed.

These districts will benefit.

After the completion of this road, it will be the first six-lane national highway in the state. Rohtas and Gaya districts including Aurangabad will be directly benefited by the construction of this road, as well as better connectivity to Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand. The time of its construction work starting in 2021, its cost was estimated to be around Rs 2848 crore, now the cost is likely to be around Rs 4100 crore.

This was the reason for the delay in construction work.

If sources are to be believed, the cost of the project will also increase due to the delay in the construction of six lanes from Varanasi to Aurangabad. However, this is yet to be assessed. The main reason for the delay in construction work is the problem of land acquisition. Now the problem of land acquisition is almost over. In such a situation, now it is likely to be completed by 2023.
